can you remove Orange reflector in a 06 5 series headlight?

I just bought a White 06 525i and i hate the orange reflector in the headlights. I noticed some people paint it black but i dont know if I want to paint it black or remove it? If you can take it out let me know or do you think i should black it out?? ill have pics when its all done. Thanks

Taking out the orange reflector is real hard. you would have to take apart the headlight, and this headlight seems indestructable. I've tried.

Three solutions,

You can black it out like you mentioned.

You can buy the Euro style headlights. Its a lot cheaper now since the release of the LCI headlights.

You can buy the Euro headlight stickers and overlay on top of the amber.
