335i Dashcam - Florida bad drivers compilation

Hoping to start churning 5 min. long volumes every week or so.

Got tired of all the bad drivers (and people rear ending me) so I got a Go Pro and set it up.

I think I recognized Fields BMW at the 2:05 mark.

I give you major props for spending that much time on I-4. It is the most out of control interstate I've ever been on, and I cannot figure out why there isn't an FHP car every 5 miles on that road.

I think I would cruise around Florida with you. However, my shorts would be a lot shorter. Why? Because I don't want to add to the sweatiness that is known to FL.

FHP doesn't care about anything except speed traps. They ignore pretty much everything else shitty about the way people drive here. I've also seen on more than one occasion some extremely stupid driving by two separate FHP motorcycle cops (heavy weaving with no lights and another cutting people off getting on from shoulder, again no lights), so I can't honestly expect them to care or do anything about bad drivers when they themselves are doing it too.

Saw a newish Sentra on the 95 the other day booking it with a flat left rear tire. Once it started to smoke I got the hell away from him. I saw in my rear view mirror when it popped and he went into the center and threw up dirt everywhere, I hope he flipped. Dumbass should have stopped to change his flat, I'm pretty sure it was pulling and the TPMS was going nuts and he kept driving.

Driving in this traffic is like investing - find the faster lane, and just go along (keep that situational awareness for where you can jump if somebody else gets stupid). Looks like all the a'holes have suckered you into a familiar kind of impatient stupidity - i.e. 1:10-1:50, pass on right, hassle the biker, and end up back behind the stupids; then the guy who almost wipes you from the right is doing what you JUST DID trying to pass on right. We've all probably been there, and regretted our impatience. Use it like a track cam and improve your game (and probably lower your passengers BP by 20 points too - are there claw marks in that seat bolster yet?).

It's called a "Cruise Cam" and it mounts to your headrest. It's made for using on the track but it works here too.

I use a Blackvue 550GW now (front and rear cams with GPS speed).
