Netflix F1: Drive to Survive Season 3 released

Watched the first 3 episodes to get in the mood for next weekend.
Pretty funky in 4K with Dolby surround sound.

The episode with Romain Grosjean's accident... I'm still speechless.

I just wish they would include more racing footage and less of the infighting between ​team managers...some of whom came out of the show looking a bit sketchy.
Horner for one..I reckon he would throw his grandma under a bus if it would get another team into trouble....and Steiner, jeez someone should tell him that swearing every other word is not a good look.
Cyril seemed like a decent intelligent bloke, so I wonder what went on behind the scenes that caused him to leave.
Of the drivers I though Vettel and Ricciardo came out the most likeable...they would be top of a list of drivers you would like to have a chat and a laugh with.
Also Norris, Sainz, Grosjean and Leclerc...all looked like decent peoples.

Agreed, Horner is a complete dick, the kid in school who tells on other students. I can't stand Ricciardo though, I get it he's funny, but every time the camera is on that dude he has to try so hard to tell a joke. Comes off as desperate.

I am only part way through this season, but Horner really comes off bad in almost every episode. He seems to really dislike Gasly for some reason.

Just getting into this now. The first episode, after a year of COVID crap, is remarkably fascinating in retrospect.

I had forgotten about the pure emotion of Lando's miracle lap in Austria. I can't remember the last time I had stood up and cheered during an F1 race. Also, Hamilton being a punk again...shocker

There are so many shows out there that are absolute CRAP, we are so fortunate that this show is so well produced. Absolutely brilliant.

My kids (6 and 9) love the show but damn theres alot of swearing in it!

Used to be Gunther but in season 3 even Toto drops F bombs everywhere.

Only about halfway through. Im still undecided as to whether I prefer a chronological order to things or team focused episodes.

It takes some of the drama out of, say "episode 7" when they're like "ooh we dont know whats going to happen with this driver" when in episode 2 they already show the outcome to that dilemma.

Like, we already know all of this. but still.

My 10 years old loves it also, but after a couple of F bombs, I stopped watching it with him, really not what I want to teach my children.
Really unfortunate that they couldn't blimp it, doesn't bring anything to the show.

Catching up with season 2, Had watched season 1 and thought sure I like the behind the wall look. It's ok being nothing else really on when I turn the box on.

There's something interesting about the way a German swears....

In some ways sounds more interesting than their own curse words coming out of their mouth. (don't ask me if I speaka de deutsch, I just know enough of the bad stuff and how to find the restroom)

It almost seems as if they anticipated the swearing to be bleeped/cut out. I laughed when the interviewer was asking Toto some questions with his response "fuck you" a few times, but he followed it with "there, now you can't use it."

The dude has this crazy smile on his face at all times, so he has to tell jokes otherwise we would lock him up.

I will say his in car radio demeanor seems very composed, almost meditative.

Finally finished all 3 seasons...Was afraid to look in here for fear of spoilers...Hope Netflix continues producing it.
