When I was a sophmore in highschool in 1982, my first car was a 1966 Chevelle. This is where the modding all started

1992 Mazda B2600i, manual. It was a hand me down from my dad who bought it brand new (this was in 2000), and was in pristine condition. I managed to roll it 6 times in an apple orchard after about 6 months or driving due to me being an idiot 16 year old.

1971 Vega GT, 400 Chev SB bored 0.030 over, 2 speed Powerglide, mini-tub.

Great car when I was 16 years old. Sold that and bought a 1980 VW Rabbit with a 4 speed. Valves were toast on it so when I downshifted and let off the gas, you could not see the car behind me.

I remember those Vega's with a Chevy small block. What a little beast. Crazy to think back then we needed CAM2 racing fuel and 12:1 compression to make it an 11-12 second car. Man have times changed, huh??

My very first car was a 1967 Mercury Cougar. But it had all kinds of problems and it turned out to be too big of a project for me and my dad. All I ever got to do in it was sit parked and run the engine, which barely ran. So, my first car that I actually drove was a 1972 Buick Skylark. Black vinyl top over blue paint with a black vinyl interior. Paid $1,200 for it. We got it shortly before my 16th birthday. The morning of my sixteen birthday I went to the DMV, took my driving test, and got my license. Then I went and picked up my best friend and drove all over town for the rest of the day. My hands ached from gripping the steering wheel by the time we finished.

1994 Pontiac Grand AM GT

Had a blast with this car. Then I joined the military right after high school, got stationed in Italy and my dad sold it to buy his 1969 Camaro that he still has.
