Driver seat controls dead: E61 Luxury Seat

Unfortunately, the other day our driver seat went dead.
Luckily in is in a position where both drivers can still drive the car.
Our USA Spec 08 535XiT has about 79,XXX Miles on it.
This wasn't a failure I was expecting.

Facts:
- Passenger Front Seat functions remain normal.
- No fuse that appears related to the seat circuits appears blown.
- The controls that move the seat are non-functional
- The Driver side seat heater is also kaput
- No fluids were spilled under the seat
- This is the fancy 0456 Contour seat that even has the adjustable shoulder support

I reviewed the fuse location guide for all fuses (apparently) related to the seats functions and none appeared to be blown. I should probably look again more carefully.

Anyone had this before?
Any hope for an easy fix?

Stumped.

Thanks!
