Is there a change in how you text using CarPlay in ID7?

Have you noticed a change in how you text using Siri with CarPlay in ID7?

I used to say "Hey Siri" to text someone and when I finished saying what I wanted in my message CarPlay/ Siri would repeat the message and ask me if I wanted to send it, change it or cancel. Now since my last ID7 update these announcements no longer happen and all that I see are options on my center display screen instead.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a ID7 issue or did the settings using Siri and texting change?

Recent versions of iOS allow automatic sending of messages that you speak aloud to Siri. Maybe that’s what you’re experiencing?

I hate it when Apple makes a change like this in their updates without notifying you. 😡
