CALL vs TEXT the girl?

This weekend was sheer insanity, State Pattys day here at Penn State. I got about 12-15 girls numbers and now I don't know what to do with them.

When you get a girls number, do you TEXT them? or do you CALL them?

and how many hours/days after acquiring it?

Sometimes I text, just to be lazy and if I hear nothing back then I quit. But I am starting to wonder if going old school and calling is the better idea. With texting and AIM and facebook it seems that now a days people have lost touch with TRUE interaction. What do you guys think?

You got 12-15 different numbers? Text them; it will be easier to keep track of who is who and what was said.

I don't understand how you got 15 numbers but are asking this question. I'm not surprised girls don't respond to your texts. Grow a pair, "lazy" is not an excuse.

I've heard it both ways from girls in what they prefer. Some girls rather have a guy call them and some rather have guys txt them. If a girl is interested in a guy, and all he ever does is txt them, they feel like he is not interested in them enough to want to talk to them. This is especially true for girls who like to talk a lot. If you don't call them, they get pissed and will blow you off for another guy who will show them more attention.

Some girls initially want guys to txt them so that they don't feel pressured into having to provide an answer to you right away if you ask them out. These are typically girls who are still trying to feel out a guy to determine if he's worth the time. If you call them too much they will get annoyed.

I say you just make a template of what you want to say and just send them a mass txt msg.

I'm fully against txting. If its something that's established already... sure... until then, I keep the conversation as direct as possible. Txting just has that 2nd tier form of communication... talking is 1st tier...

The equivalent analogy to this would be something like driving on a race track... would you not rather beat on it in an F1 race car or use your daily driver?

Well, I'd say I'm much more likely to throw myself off the track and die a slow death trapped under the flaming wreckage of a F1 car than my 335i...

When you first meet, I prefer text over call that way it gives me time to get back to you and I dont feel put on the spot.
