No comfort mode for 330e

Hi all

I picked up a 2022 330e (pre-LCI) last week. Loving it, however I'm struggling to work out if it's possible to manually switch to 'comfort' mode? It has the adaptive M suspension, however the 4 drivings modes Sport, Hybrid, Electric & Adaptive don't explicitly say or let you select the suspension to be in 'comfort'. The only exception to this is in the 'Sport' & 'electric' individual settings.

Is that the only way to select comfort suspension or is it just set by default when you're in Hybrid?

Many thanks!

In electric individual you can set the suspension mode manually.

I have a 23 330e with the idrive 8 screen - with adaptive it is in comfort mode for electric and hybrid

sport & xtraboost hardens it up

However, you can override this with the individual settings and have electric mode with hard or sport with softer

with individual sport, you can also choose if you want comfort engine, steering & gearbox map, so in theory you can have a bespoke "comfort mode"

Hi both,

Thank you for your replies. On your ID8 system does it confirm anywhere that it is in Comfort when in Hybrid? Or are you able to go from feel?

I'm assuming it probably is in Comfort, however it is just bugging me that I have no way of knowing it selecting it when in Hybrid as that is what I'll be doing 90% of my driving in.

Cheers!

it is 100% in comfort in all hybrid modes
it is only firmer in sport modes or when you turn it to sport in an individual mode
you can immediately feel the difference - sport suspension is firmer and actually i find it borderline uncomfortable if you are on a longer journey and not blasting through the lanes !!

Great, that's exactly the info I was after. I suspected as much but it was bugging me not knowing for sure. My last car was an e92 330d so all of this is very new to me!

Cheers!
