All the Fender blackface were original 60s vintage.

Love the fake faces and two heads jacked in. The facade made it cooler though.

BTW my amps were really loud but not arena rock loud.

I did the long version of In-Gadda-Da-Vida in a band in high school. It was our signature piece. I was lead guitar. I wasn't great but I wasn't horrible. Played a Gibson Thunderbird through a Fender Super Reverb (with tubes) and Vox wahwah pedal.
I had a Super Reverb but it was a repro. All tube like the original and sounded great but not a 60s vintage. Kinda heavy too. The one that killed me though I didn't buy. My guitar pusher asked me to move an amp for him once as a gag. It was a vintage Twin. With JBL speakers which add weight. It was probably about 100 pounds. I DID move it and he was impressed. I just hid how hard it was. And now no chance. It would live where ever it was placed.

I guess I was on the wrong side of the tracks( that phrase is in itself a clue to age), we never had anything fancy like that. The closest I remember is the test car with the paint shot to demonstrate braking distance.

Remember the weeds. They can grow like zombies, and you need something like this to keep them in check.

...when you're in another room when the new Applebee's TV commercial comes on and you think that someone changed the channel to "Welcome Back, Kotter" because they used the show's theme music for the commercial.....

Am I the only person who refuses to get old by shredding the weekly unsolicited AARP membership offers, stuffing them back into their reply envelopes, and sending them back?

Sorry AARP, but I'm still a Toys 'R Us kid...who knows how to stay off other people's lawns.....

AARP started sending me stuff before I turned 50. Pissed me off. I don't send the pieces back but I still take pleasure in tearing them to shreds.

This. Even when they try to hide it, I know an AARP envelope. Our recycle bin is between the mailbox and the house for a reason.
