My late mum and my wife are so into Eurovision Songfestival things.....and tbh so am I sometimes. And tonight is a night to remember nice songs from the past Eurovision years.

It's almost year's end. God Bless and all that stuff.
I'm drinking an Italian beer. The missus is @ our daughters home/place and won't be coming back until tomorrow she just told me

Fiesta. From Sweden. 1984 Winners

Katrina was walking on sunshine but suddenly she met love...(?)

It's pretty much as synchronised as a 1976 Morris Marina 4 speed manual gearbox

This is not a Eurovision song. At all. Michel Fugain sang it. And I remember my mum singing it(sort of) in the kitchen....'45 years ago' . And because her and my French is pretty terrible
A cover song and a great one:

Anybody here watching The Grand Tour @Amazon Prime? It's excellent!

Last (new) episode:
Carnage au Trois and somewehere in it is this song, which is Belgian and not French. As stated in the episode

A very Big Hit overhere back then.
I'm visiting Brussels for the 3rd time in 4 months next week because of business and the missus is now(off course) going with me.

Yes it's a German song. But it was such a hit (when I was a baby) overhere in the Netherlands too I had to post it. For my beloved wife. Always.

El proximo. In Eurovision Songcontest 1973 this song just got stuck at 2nd place unfortunately.

Un cancion maravioso para mi I para mi mujer Luzmaria. My wife is from Spanish & Irish decent from Colombia. Our common language is Spanish though I'm 100% a Dutchman

Back to the real world and music I DO have on my Spotify list when driving my car

Not that the songs I posted earlier are not my taste. Off course not.

But this is more like it:

Last but not least, probably the biggest band the Netherlands had ever seen in the late 70s begin 80s. SKA meets Dutch talk.
Literally I'm home alone and that's what's the lead singer is preaching(after so many one night stands presumably)
Enjoy. And this is in Dutch. The Dutch will conquer the world....
Well...they already did about 3 to 400 hundred years ago.

I like it. Sounds to me like a cross between Adam Ant and Falco.

Here's a better version of the same recording. Was looking for it a while back because I wanted to post it here (and did) and that's why I remembered.
