This is now the second time I've had an issue with what appears to be black grease or something similar appearing on my headliner after I close it. Anyone else had this happen?

I have not seen that before, but mine being black would be hard to see.
Anyway I would book a appt at the dealer you got something greasy rubbing against the power sunshade there.

Ugh! That might not come out. So assuming you didn't cause it, make a service appt and have them find the root cause. Then, discuss your options on a fix to the grease mark. If they offer to try and clean it, I would only accept on the condition that if the end result doesn't meet your satisfaction, a replacement would be done.
