When I first moved to Glendale CA, there were lots of Armenians teaching me how to cuss in Armenian. It has been about 30 years ago, and I still remember most.

Personal I think it's not a good idea to change out our bearings ...even for free for me it is a no go..
I don't trust any the new type of bearings because we saw nothing of it ..no testing ...nada , that's why the question in my head is...are they better or even worse ?
BMW had never a fix for our bearings not in the past and not today .
The best offer would be extented warranty in case of BF.... and when we have BF at that point ...Yes because no choise is left .
And let's hope we have a good S65 out of the lottery...because they are out there with +100K even + 200K on it.
I would never open up my S65 without BF because the possibility is also there that we have good bearings in spec/tolerance .
But extra warranty is welcome , but I need to see it first

I warm up the car at least 30-60sec during summer, and 2-3min during winter. No higher than 3000rpm if it is not is 1/4 of oil temp.

I just hope that our bearing will not go bad.

Same thing here about the warm up procedure .
Mine is now in hirbernation on my CTEK battery tender in my warm garage to avoid ice,snow and roadsalt from the Belgian winter and for how long depends of the winter..
I look at here right now in showroom look

Yeah my friend let's hope we have a bearing winning ticket out of the German S65 factory .

I washed mine last week, but I hit the damn water puddle.
Mine will be on battery tender on Thursday. Thursday high will be 24F degrees here.

Yep bout time for me to winter prep my car as well... Just had the car cquartz'ed for the winter... Sometimes it drops into the 60's and becomes unbearable around these parts... Might even have to use the heated seats once or twice...
