xBox question

Has the xBox Pro always had an HDMI port? I'm thinking about picking up one on craigslist, but I want to make sure that it has HDMI.

the ad says it can do 1080p

Thanks.

Only the "elite" initially came with an HDMI port. Later, all of them came with an HDMI port, but only the Elite came with a cable.

There isn't a noticeable visual difference between component and HDMI to be honest.

Does that make downloading 1080 vids pointless? To be honest, i have a 720 and 1080, and the difference isn't noticable. I try always download the 720 version to save some dl time.

If you're looking to get an XBOX 360, your best bet right now would probably be a brand new 360 Arcade. The Arcade doesn't have a hard drive, but it has built in memory and plus, you can buy a larger hard drive later depending on your storage needs. Another benefit is essentially all new arcade systems come with the Jasper chipset, which uses less power, runs cooler, and has a smaller die cast on its processor. It has HDMI out but does not come with a cable. If you need cheap HDMI cables, go to monoprice.
