It's pretty good. I prefer Coney Island Brewing Co's hard root beer tho

Yes had it. I feel the alcohol adds to the sweetness of the root beer and it's was too sugary tasting.

Never even knew there was such a thing as alcoholic root beer. It's good. I'm almost done with the 6 pack, so I'm probably not a reliable source right now.

I believe you. Whether one has had any food or not is also likely a big factor. I just find it easier to enjoy one, then switch back over to Hofbrau or something.

They have a "seasonal" 19.5% available in a bomber or on draft in a select market around the brewery in Illinois as well a 10.7%. I would like to try 19.5%!

The 5.9% is alright, I'm not a big fan of root beer flavored stuff.

Tastes pretty close to Captain and rootbeer. I prefer the captain mix instead, wasn't too fond of the NYFRB.

Seems like a way to ruin a perfectly good beverage. Good root beer is good all by itself. Not everything needs alcohol.
