Who have you helped out this week?

I decided not to go out and party this new years but to spend it with my mom. Just her and i.

And the other day my faith was somewhat restored in humanity. I went shopping and got one of my gf's a beautiful sweater and a top, about $60. While i was at the mall, my friend and i decided to have lunch, and i accidently left the bag with the receipts on the bench outside the movie theather by the restaurant. About an hour and 1/2 later, my friend asks where the bag was. I freaked out, i kept thinking o shit o shit, i must be gone.. i cant believe it! So i went back to the bench, and it wasnt there. I was so sad, i decided to go inside the restaurant and ask if anyone brought a bag in (but i was highly doubtful). So i asked the hostess and i couldnt believe the woman standing right next to me, said "o yea, i did grab that bag off the bench, i assumed it was someone waiting for a table, so i brought it back to the restaurant". I couldnt believe it!

Wish i could help out, but if i gave blood i think they'd have to help me in the end.. haah..

I gave a sizeable donation to the Salvation Army, a charity here in Australia, who will use it to provide Christmas cheer, food and toys to families who would otherwise have nothing.

I do this every year because I am lucky to be where I am, and sometimes people just need to know that someone else believes in their right to happiness.

I honestly wish I could do this, because like my father I would have the rare AB- blood type. However the Red Cross does not accept blood from gay people, and I am not willing to lie to them, so I have to find other ways to help my fellow beings.
