Sport+
I find it is the most precise setting when the engine is at high RPM. You also get the full benefit of the anti-lag system. However, to fully appreciate Sport+, it is better to run with DSC fully off and the DCT in S3. While I use Efficient on the street because is makes for nice and relaxed driving, I find it ill suited for the track where it is sluggish and provides unpredictable response due to reduced anti-lag. Note that your question is not quite properly worded, it should read "Engine Dynamics" setting. The "Engine Dynamics" setting controls more than just throttle pedal to throttle body mapping as was the case on the E46 and E92 (the old "Sport| button). It also has an impact how anti-lag, engine cooling and exhaust valves are regulated for instance. So there are other reasons to want to use Sport+ than just throttle sensitivity.

My first track day I used Sport but once I got use to the car, I found Sport+ to be more predictable and easier to modulate. As CanAutM3 says, DSC off is also important because the intervention will, in my experience, also give the impression of unbalancing the car. With Sport+ and DSC off (assuming you have enough experience to do so), the car is both predictable and easier to manage at the limit.

Sport + with my DCT car but I think I'll stick with Sport now that I have a 6MT so I can take advantage of the Rev matching. DCT, S3, Sport+ everything and dsc/tc off is how I liked it. felt smooth at the track and quick response when I wanted it. it'll be interesting to see how the 6MT and passive suspension do.

I tried Sport+ yesterday on the track and loved it. I think it gave great control, but I'm still not convinced on the street...

I agree, Sport+ is too sharp for low RPM driving at moderate speeds, there is not sufficient damping and it sends shudders through the drivetrain.

Remember that Sport Plus runs the engine cooler, which will be better for power. (http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1025229)
