Those actually flow with the lines of the hood. Perfect IMO. Aggressive but not overkill or cheesy.

Did this change just for the 135I's? I know that on the facelifted E46 coupes and on the early E90 non sport models they were baking them. Jlevistreetwerks a very reputable online lighting vendor actually has a DIY for this. 20 mins in the oven at 200 degrees then pry apart slowly. Prior to putting them back together you put it them back in the oven for 15mins to resoften the adhesive. :iono:

Well you may be right, I read on another thread somewhere that it wasn't possible on the more recent BMW models (as in anything newer than E46 models) but I don't think it was from any official source. So after reading what you said I really don't know anymore. But I guess we'll find out because someone will try this sooner or later.

i LOVE the look of those heads, but i doubt it would be possible to do and keep the flowing look of that PS

I care. That is why I'm not going to screw with the basic design, because less is more. If it needs to be changed by people, maybe it is just the wrong car in the first place.

The best Bangle design so far IMO.

I think we will design a Vorsteiner hood for the 1 Series. We designed the new one for the 3 Series (with help from some of the guys on the forums, of course)... so we'll have to follow that up. I like this photo a lot:

Second, you obviously havn't seen the 2009 7er or the Concept CS to say it's their best design so far! Yes the 1er looks good...but it's not their best design IMHO. Not because you own the car that you have to convince yourself that it's the best looking BMW. IMO opinion, the 3er is still a better looking car than the 1er. It doesn't mean that the 1er looks ugly.
I own an E92 335i. I honestly didn't like the 135i when it first came out. Now I love it! All it needs is a little drop, some rims, and it looks tough. The body style really grew on me. If I could go back and have the choice I'd buy the 135i over my 335i....

Back on the thread topic...I know of a couple vendors that are working on these, and will release in the near future. :w00t:

the only problem is that the stock headlights are kind of the way they are to create the extension of the line that goes around the whole car- derived from the chrome body surround of the 2002 which is one of the "classic" features connecting the 1 to the 2002
