Transmission jolt - 550i

Hi everyone. New E60 owner, I recently purchased an 07 550i with approx. 42k miles. Car is great but was surprised by a few rough shifts. The car went into limp mode once on uneven road but that was solved by restart. I did however notice the car jolts and kicks back when using steptronic to shift from 1st to 2nd at a stop. I can’t imagine this is normal behavior. The jolt seems to come more from the rear drivetrain than the transmission itself. I’ve read a few forums on this but can’t pinpoint if this is a common issue. Does anyone else have any experience with this or suggestions? I do have a 90 day warranty and want to make sure I address. Thank you in advance. John

Hey - just checking in to see if anyone had this specific problem. I've seem similar issues but can't find anyone who has replicated. Will get a dealer diag and then bring in for warranty work but want to make sure they're doing everything needed. Thanks!

That does not seem normal.
