pretty nice at the Cabin too

while the elected leader in CA are abysmal, and our taxes are ludicrous, there are some redeeming qualities

These were my weather conditions yesterday.

Then, these are my weather conditions today in my new training environment

Another balmy day in Alberta, Canada. The temperature is -33 C but is to warm up to -28 C this afternoon. It is cold enough to freeze the balls off a pool table. Luckily it is going to be sunny and no new snow.

The first thing to cross my mind when seeing those pictures was when our local ANG wing allegedly got busted for having live lobsters in their C-5 when they returned from a training flight many moons ago.....

Sunny, but single digit temps. Good day to stay inside and watch the SB.

most of our troops are loyal, dedicated, brave and selfless men and women.... who will find a way to make a situation advantageous for their loved one back on the homefront, lol.

It was allegedly more than a few crustaceans for personal consumption.

I personally have no problem with people serving in the military picking up souvenirs along the way. Heck, the Europeans during WW-II used to have a saying that the American soldiers are only fighting in Europe for the souvenirs.....

A little rain this weekend and tomorrow. Expected to be a little warmer than normal this coming week, with highs in the low to mid 80s, lows in the mid-60's. Should get back to high 70's by end of the week.

I bought one of these (NOCO GENIUS2D on-board charger) on Black Friday sale for $29, but haven't had a chance to install it yet:

I use this model on my F-250 diesel which has two inline 850CCA batteries and it's still has enough juice to keep it topped up in the winter.

I used to take long walks around my subdivision during the summer.

Too cold now obviously. Plus, more snow in the forecast

You could always buy a treadmill for the cold winter months.

PS - my daughter went to the University of Chicago some years ago for a few semesters. She enjoyed the snow.

Yeah, I just run on the treadmill. But, it's not the same as going outside for walks smelling the fresh summer air, and feeling the breeze.
