dinonz my advise to you on this one is to cease and desist. I can't add anything else here. With any aspect of life you must achieve balance. You are way off balance here. You need to recenter yourself sir. Your effort is less than your attainment. I'd start looking at this relationship (on whatever level it's on) with more of business minds-eye. If you continuously throw money at something and it doesn't yield results, time to change something fast. Just my advice sir. I hate seeing people be used.

This is true - but I don't think he's being used, not necessarily. After getting in my relationship all her friends have been asking for advice/help and she relays most to me, and 99% of the girls' guy problems come from the guy not taking charge. They absolutely hate it, even the one girl that's a self-proclaimed "alpha female" (I think that's absolutely repulsive but whatever).


It kinda sounds like our man is waiting for her to make the first move to be sure, which I understand, but what's the worst that can happen man?
You might need a new detailer? It's not like every 17 year old high schooler has a "detailing business" nowadays.

Valid points made here. I typically have a 4 date rule. If sex is not had by the 4th date, a 5th will not be had. Then again, I don't wait for them to make a move. I gauge the vibes and play off that. dinonz my man, you're going to have to be aggressive here, but not so aggressive that she is running away.

She doesn't really drink. She suffers from narcolepsy, so doesn't like staying away from home, and will not drink anything if she's driving (was a victim in 2 drink driving accidents in her teens from which she still suffers pain occasionally). But she did say she might have a couple of drinks on her birthday, so I will take a nice scotch for her to try at least.

She's coming over tonight, but that's to work on the Ferrari.

This is where it gets into a grey area because we've really not been out on that many "dates" - we had a couple of lunches together but by the evening she's been wanting to work as the days are too hot in Texas to work on cars. We've spent a lot of time together doing things (running all over town dropping off or collecting cars from various places, taking her to medical appointments etc.) so it feels very strange.

She runs me around too to pick up or drop off cars for repairs etc. so it's not a one way street. The medical appointment was stressful for her so I said I'd take her both so she didn't have to drive, and she had some moral support while doing it.

Yeah - although as mentioned it's not all a one way street. She helps me out too. I have to drop the Ferrari off about 45 minutes away from here and she will come pick me up.
