Just Out of Curiosity

Not that it is any of my business but what type of career do you have in order to pay for your BMW? When I get my BMW I hope to be a civil engineer.

you may want to lean mechanical, ME's have more career paths to follow and generally make more money.

if you're into civil go for it though, should be able to get about 45k starting out of school with civil

I think most people can afford BMWs. But whether you have the extra cash to spare after all your expenses is a different story.

The price on a base 325i with no options, ED, is about $26,000. To put in perspective, a loaded Toyota Camry or Honda Accord is about $32000.

you can't count ED price because it costs that much to travel there and get a hotel.

True, true, though i right now have an associate's in Electrical engineering , it kind of hit me that it isn't what I want to do. I would much rather have a career that I absolutely love and be making "good money," than have a career that I despise but making "great money." That's my .02 cha-ching

I am married to an electrical engineer, that's as close as I want to get to this.
