Do MP3 DVD's now work on all new 3 series cars?

I've seen some conflicting posts, but is the current status of the 3-series that MP3 DVD's work?

If so, are there any drawbacks? Example: is there a limit to how many songs you can have on the DVD, are track names truncated, can you use any bitrate up to 320k, can you use rewritable disks, etc.?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated...

I don't know about everyone's but mine does...and I just got it last week so I'm sure yours will have it.

Mine doesnt. That little DVD button is like a tease everytime I play a CD.

Mine also works but is limited to +-320 songs or about 1 gig. What a waste!!!

If your car is a POST September car YES it will work

I have a November 05 build and have been able to play a 3.8 GB MP3 DVD with 624 mp3 titles on 26 directories exluding sub-directories without a problem. I am not sure what the new limit is but it definitely is more than 624 titles.
