I was hoping someone else would get it started. My intentions but completely failed with NO execution:
4 wings in a dry lemon pepper rub
4 wings in a wet honey barbecue marinade
Pulled pork butt on the smoker stated at 6am, finished at 2pm
Wife’s cheesy dip with ground beef

The dip and the pork happened but none of it got eaten. Ended up sitting on the slow cooked until we woke about midnight. Game was decent, half time was good but not amazing….bet we both had off today so that was a jackpot

As opposed to? I'm generally curious as to what halftime show has ever been stupendous and maybe I just missed it lol.

I thought the halftime show was more fun than the game. Was it great? No, but there have been worse! The game was boring & didn't get good until the 4th quarter tbh. We had a ton of snacks, wine, beer & champagne. It was a good day

This was the first SB that I didn't watch at home or at a party. I was on a plane and it was neat seeing most of the TV's tuned to the same channel. Best part was I didn't gain any weight eating the usual crap.

just the 2 of us at home this year / was perfect for us

nachos with beef, beens, onions, peppers, and cheese
mini weiners wrapped in bacon slow cooked in brown sugar
bbq weiners, chips, dip and queso, and a variety of beverages
to choose from

game was ok / really just needed to watch the last quarter
once OBJ went down

didn't really care who won this year - made the game so much more enjoyable
once it started getting competitive

half time - ehhh
commercials - ehhh

I had plans to watch it, beer, wine, wings, fries, meats and cheeses.

But, the missus daughter had an crises across town so we had to drive over there so she could talk her daughter off the ledge So I missed the whole thing.

The wings reheated nicely tho
