535i blows hot air

someone please help. Im new to the forum and extrordinarily confused about something. My 535i blows HOT air when in vent mode. Is this normal? When engine temp is hot, the vent is obviously bringing air into the car which is much hotter than ambient air temperature. ANYONE??

yes but I think the fresh air intake valve must be via the engine compartment because once the engine is warm the vent air becomes very hot. even at night it blows hot air much hotter than ambient air. this seems to me to be a very significant design error.
