There's a 250+ page thread at the Bronco forums and 50 declaring failures so there's definitely an issue. I understand the engine has been pretty solid in F150 duty so could be do to a batch of bad parts which makes sense as it seems they are failing pretty early. Sounds like one of those things where if you have a bad engine it won't take long to find out.

The recall sounds like it could have been written for the N54 HPFP. Maybe it was a cut-and-paste.

Some of the respondents who speak to build quality and reliability and NVH in this thread seem to not understand the MSRP base price of the Base trim 2-Door is $30,000. So regardless of how far you go up the trim levels the vehicle was designed to a $30K price point, which means the paint and interior trim reflects that price level. The trim levels generally add off-road capability rather than luxury as you go up the scale. The Outer Banks trim goes into a relative luxury mall-crawler model, but the Big Bend, Black Diamond and Badlands all increase the off-road capability of the Base model. The Wild track just throws in most all of the kitchen sink (the two packages that can be added to the trim levels). Considering Ford offers the Base trim with the highest capable off-road package (Sasquatch) says a lot about their intent for the Bronco.

What also I think is missed is the Bronco is basically intended to be a dirt bike in automotive form. Either roof style is fully removeable and the doors are removable. The interior is expected to get dirty (dust, mud, moisture). In last 20 years or so, unless you've owned a Jeep CJ or Wrangler, there has been no vehicle USA with these attributes, which is a low-priced, modular, off-road capable SUV. For 14 years I owned a Base model YJ (the first Jeep Wrangler), which was a just modernized CJ to address the CJ's shortcomings related to its handling dynamics (rollovers). But it was still a sheet metal tin can with zero sound insulation, outdoor carpet, metal dashboard, and a flimsy cloth top with vinyl seats. It cost $12,500 in 1995, which is a $24K price point in 2022; I certainly didn't expect it to be a Range Rover.

The new Ford Bronco meets that ethos; a low cost off roader automotive dirt bike. My Bronco is just under $39K, which is about $20.5K in 1995 dollars; it's a shitload nicer than my 1995 YJ. Comparing a Base 1995 YJ to a Base 2021 Bronco, the 1995 price of the $30K Bronco would have been just $16,000. Considering the equipment level of each, I'm not sure what there is to complain about.
Just curious, how much ADM did you pay?

There are dealers that will do below msrp on orders. Just check the Bronco forums. 2023 order banks open 8/15.

I drove the Bronco Badlands at Ford's Nevada rodeo. I came away very impressed. Although completely subjective, the NVH with a hard top was much better than any Jeep I have ever driven. My Bronco Raptor was built yesterday; it is anyone's guess as to when it will be delivered (no Raptors have yet to be delivered -- may be missing a component?). No, I did not pay an ADM; paid $500 below MSRP (not invoice). I truly believe this will be an amazingly fun vehicle.

Excellent. Looks like you got in at the last production of MY 2022. Any feeling if your dealership is cool, or is it an ADM hound? After 6 weeks with mine, I've really come to like it. It was the right choice for me looking forward. I'm getting over the BMW scene; its getting too pretensious.

I hope you enjoy yours when it arrives!

I'd like to address this now that I've taken delivery and run the truck for just over 1,000 miles in 6 weeks. Mine is a 2-door 2.3L w/manual transmission. So keep in mind the Bronco Base model had a MY'21 MSRP of $30K. So the majority of the hard parts of the design are for a $30K vehicle.

My Black Diamond arrived nearly flawless. The battery was dead from sitting four months awaiting shipment. My 2nd test drive before I signed for it, it had a low frequency rattle over bumps. It was in the right rear. It sounded like the trim panel was loose. I stopped opened the tailgate and smacked the panel, it popped into place and been silent ever since. At that time I noticed the MIC top wasn't plugged in, which means the heated rear glass and wiper were inoperable. No big deal, the pigtail was missed at assembly time. Dealer fished out the pigtails (electic and washer fluid) and connected them. Oh, yes, I found a seat hold down bolt in the drain channel of the rubber washout floor. It's a black anodized bolt dropped into a black rubber floor in a black interior; its dark inside the interior. Overall, just a few minor issues on a mass production vehicle.

Fit and finish inside and out is perfect. The MIC top is completely free of leaks, noises or rattles (as been complained about on the Forums). The MIC top cosmetics are excellent as well. I didn't like the clutch and shifter at first, but have grown to like them. Mostly a cause of driving BMW 3-Series for the past 30 years; its a different transmission from a different manufacturer in a different vehicle type.

For my money, the execution of the assembly build and overall design is above my expectations. Given all the COVID related issues Ford had launching the Bronco, again for my money, their job as executed is way above par IMO. It's a quality product.

From what I've read they're pretty good. They are advertising no markups on raptors so hopefully that's a good sign. It will be my wife's car, such a transition from a Volt.

So we’ll see what happens if it gets pushed back more or not. When we first ordered they said 1-1.5 years so we were very surprised to even get a vin this early.

I'm 6 months into the x3 m40i, and I still find myself wanting a Bronco - even though the "Bronco" embossed part of the driver's seat hurt my back after a while.

I abandoned my reservation after MIC top-gate started, but I'm thinking I may have one at some point - especially if I could get heritage edition seats in an Eruption Green Bronco.

still - the #3500lb tow limit.. would love to see #4400 like the 4runner.

Train unfortunately. My wife works near the CSX yard, I told her she can go look at it for 6 weeks before they decide to move it.

Mine was truck. It took Ford 4 months to ship it. But I was a late January blend. I think Ford has cleared out the January backlog and the shipping a near back to normal based on the tracking info from the Bronco Forums.

I hope you get it soon. It's a neat truck.
