New respect for the current Mustang effort by Ford. Pretty awesome car that shows effort by the manufacturer.

I know its a limited production run, but if enough of them attend car meets, and you happen to be at each car meet, you could probably collect enough parts to build your very own. Numbers not matching of course.

I had a 16 Mustang GT and in a simple rainstorm on good tires driving in a straight line I heard the engine rpms moving around and the rear end started to come around on me. I caught that and slowed down and it tried to do it again on me. Needless to say my next drive was straight to the used car lot and I was done with Mustangs from then on. Cheap M3 it is not.

The reason there are so many car show mishaps with mustangs is they are relatively cheap, RWD and powerful. As a result many inexperienced drivers end up in them, showing off. In the 15 years that I commuted in a GT500 on drag radials, I never had a problem.
Meanwhile, for your viewing pleasure:

True story: I used to receive calls at work through an intermediary. One night she called in to our center to say that she had "Mike Hunt" on the line looking for assistance. Me and my buddy were almost ROTF. It was a real call and I had a very hard time keeping my grin out of the sound of my voice.
