RE8 Village

Anyone played it yet? I’m watching the play through on youtube, I must say the game and it’s genre has come a long way since the first ones. I’m probably getting it soon and this seems like a lot of fun and time consuming as well.

I've seen some youtube vids, haven't played a RE game since RE3 I think, the last two are quite different.

I haven't played an RE game since there were actual zombies in the game. Now each one just seems unique to its own deal. However village has been intense

I will be getting village soon I hope. I'm a huge fan of the series.

Although the RE 2 remake a few years back is the best IMO.

I got it for PC, you need a pretty good spec'ed pc to run everything smoothly. I'm not a huge fan of console gaming anymore

I love how they've left the Village "playable" demo available to download on the PS store, but if you go to the trouble of downloading and trying to play it, you get "this demo is expired" or something. Why not just remove the damn demo instead of wasting bandwidth and time? I just can't bring myself to spend $60 on it, and I damn sure can't bring myself to spend $70 on Returnal. So, I bought RE7 for $10, got to the part where you're fighting Mia and just binned it. I loved RE1 through RE3. RE5 was enjoyable enough. But RE7 just sucked. I'll pick up RE8 when it goes on sale eventually. No Man's Sky finally went on sale for once, so it'll happen... maybe years from now, but it'll happen.

It is a good game, I am not yet done playing it. You really need to explore the whole map to get all the things that you need.

RE4 will always be my favorite.
