Most anticipated games of 2010

Due to a glut of major development delays in the fourth quarter of 2009, the new calendar year looks to have one of the strongest gaming lineups of the last decade. All of the current generation consoles are at about the midway point of their life cycles, and companies like Bungie, BioWare and Konami are just now unlocking these systems' top capabilities. 2010 has something for every type of gamer.This is going to be an expensive year for video game lovers as we present you with the top 10 most anticipated games of 2010.

This holiday game season has been pretty rough already to be honest. Major releases, mostly 2-3 per month, every month since November. And looking at release schedules, it looks like this will continue until at least April-May. Kind of ridiculous how much I've spent on games in the last 6 months.

Sequel to Batman - Arkham Asylum
Gran Turismo 5
Super Street Fighter IV (IV grew on me, didn't like it at all at first; sit and play it with some friends for a while)

Sequel to Super Mario Galaxy

I don't play many games so the only one that I'm looking forward to is God of War III. Played the first two and they were great!

I actually thought Starcraft 2 would be on there, guess not. Have been waiting anxiously for this game for over 2 years lol. Announced it in 2007 and its yet to be released..

It got delayed because its coming out for the PS5.

After reading the preview about the new MLB 2k10 game that comes out March 2, it sounds pretty cool. You can create a player and have them start from the minors and work their way up to the MLB, and there is going to be live Stat updates like all the other 2k Sports game. It seems pretty sweet, but as with all other baseball games the past few years, it could be a let down.
