Honestly, dont flood this thread with that, go dump it in the whore thread if you really feel the need to discuss your rendezvous.

Both. Lol. Kimber are excellent weapons. Little more pricey than average good quality handguns but you get good value for the money.

I saw a nice one yesterday for $1399. It looks a lot bigger than mine.

Question about gun shows. Why can you not purchase online and ship to your home?? Seems a little absurd if you're already a gun owner

They need to do the federal background check if they are a licensed federal firearms dealer. If you buy at a gunshow, the can usually do this there and have you fill in the paperwork and call it in. It requires a physical id check to process. This is why they can't do it online and need to mail it to another ffl dealer. Private sales between two non licensed people can be done without the ffl. They are often done at a gunshow. This is the so called loophole but ut can be done anywhere like a starbucks.

If the kimber was a full size 1911, it is bigger than your glock, shoots bigger bullets, and is a standard 1911 full size.

No no. My question is, I have a gun. Legally. They ran my background, I passed. So why am I not allowed to have a weapon shipped to my home? I've already successfully purchased one in person. Why can I not order it from let's say "buygunsdotcom" and have it sent to my front door?

Yes. For each gun. They can only ship direct if you obtain a ffl.

Oh ok. See I didn't know that. So they don't store my information in the system then. Ok. Now it makes sense

Seems a little inefficient. Trump should fix that. I saw two guys waiting over 20 minutes for their checks yesterday.

It makes the physical id check valid because otherwise someone could steal your id and buy one illegally.

They should do a finger print scan. 2 seconds and done. Identify confirmed.

It's actually for each purchase. If you go in and buy 15 guns, it's just one background check.

They do an additional check for each purchase because after you purchased your glock a month ago, you could have been convicted of a crime that disallows you to purchase firearms.

If I am convicted, would they go to my home and seize my guns?
