PlayStation 3 Delayed for EU

Sucks for those in Europe (similar to how the US gets shorted on BMW models!)...

I will still buy a PS3 (if just for the Final Fantasy series of games) but I'm seriously considering also getting an XBOX360. I normally only choose one console per generation, but I'm having more doubts about Sony as time goes on...

XBOX360 kicks ass. I got it for my boyfriend for his birthday and we play it so much. Even just the stupid little free games and demos are fun to play and there are some games that you won't ever play the real game but you can play online with your friends for hours and use the headset to talk to them without using your minutes. It's probably the coolest thing I've got since my car last October.

I probably will get PS3 but only when the price goes down like the XBOX360 I waited for a while until it was down to $399. I can't wait for the new Gran Turismo.

I just ordered an Xbox 360 yesterday. The last console I had was a PS1 in high school and I haven't played video games since.

Nikki, what games have you got that are good?

I'm getting Call of Duty 2, Fight Night Round 3, Need for Speed Most Wanted and possibly Saints Row.

We have Project Gotham Racing 3, which is really cool, it's no Gran Turismo but it has really great graphics and it's a lot of fun with a ton of different cars, but no "normal" cars like Gran Turismo has.
We have Madden 07 which is cool but they changed a lot about it since Madden 06 so it depends on if you like the changes.
Battlefield 2 is our favorite game because you can play online and it's just really fun. You can talk to friends and create troops to team up and capture the enemy's flags and the graphics are incredible.
We played NFS Most Wanted on regular xbox so we don't have it for 360.
Saints Row is really fun, we have the demo right now but we're waiting to get some games from my boyfriend's friend in CT because he works at a game store and can get them cheap for us. We're also going to get MLB2k6, waiting on that.
Fight Night, we played the demo and that was pretty cool but neither of us are into it really enough to buy it.
Some other cool demos you should download are the ping pong game, which is surpisingly very fun and there are two different soccer games that are cool.
We got Texas Hold 'Em for free because it was free for the first 2 days but now it's like $10 I think, but it may be worth it even if you don't necessarily play poker because it's fun and addicting.
We also got Street Fighter for like $5. There are a lot of fun cheap old arcade games and yahoo games and stuff.

i disagree nikki.
the system was so hyped and it is good, but its not godly like people said it was.
it freezes from time to time, its choppy, and overall not a smooth system.

some games are cool like nba, but others are boring.
the new 007 game or whatever they call it (nightfire perfect dark or someshit) had poor graphics.

i am sega/sony man and will stay that way. but thats just my opinion. DOA was fun game tho.

just pray the new gran turismo will have the e90, that shit will keep me and my bro occupied for hours!

i heard there's nothing new about the next Gran Turismo other than HD quality graphics. i bought GT4 and played it maybe just for two weeks and got bored of it. there's so many things to do in that game yet it gets boring too easily. i think they need to put a little story on that.

The last Gran Turismo had the E90, if im not mistaken.
I know it had thee new M5.
Xbox 360 is nice but if def. will fail the sony. Playstation is like the 3-series of videogames. I sets the bench mark and everyone else plays catchup.
PGR is the hotness though. I rule with the SLR!!!

dam thing keeps on getting delayed and they are scrambling to make it as fast as they can...which of course usually result in bugs and issues

GT4 has the e90 330i. they didnt even bother putting the 325i. man... that car is just so slow in the game. gotta have good skills to win with that car. its not fun driving the e90 in the game. sad to say.

THATS where you are wrong, honestly one of the best neutral cars to tune other than a M3 which is the MOST neutral car in the game IMO. I can take MUCH faster cars with a 330 in the game, its soo tossable...anyways!:rocks:

I don't have any interest in the PS3 at this point. Limited units and delays don't really matter to me.

I am thinking about getting a 360.

The games that definitely have my interest are:

- Mass Effect
- Too Human
- Star Wars: KOTOR 3 (No info on this one yet)

hmmmm... i think i have a modified one that i use to race and win. but it was really hard for me to win 1st place with the stock 330. or maybe my skills arent good enough.
