So cool. Have you ever heard of R L Burnside? Similar but a little more raw.

This killer fucking Rush song still gives me goosebumps when I listen to it. One of the greatest rock songs ever created IMHO. Around the 3:45 mark of this song I just love. It starts that rhythmic drum beat from Neil and then Alex Lifeson kicks in with his incredible floaty guitar..... look at Neil's intense face complete with the mustache. Lol.
I must admit I like the studio recording of this track however. It just sounds sharper. |

^^^ yeah you may be right.
Haha. Okay moving away from Canada and back to my home with a bit of Alice in Chains. The 90s were a different era in Seattle for sure. |

A belly full of rum is not enough to truly appreciate that video. Perhaps it's time for this "old man" to call it a night... change my mind.

Wow, reading some of the comments on YouTube under the video. I have to agree with that person's assessment of us Gen Xers. At the same time, as others have stated, music was fucking awesome in the 80s and 90s. |

One of the most underrated PJ songs ever. Their debut album "Ten" was insanely good and remains their best album IMO. This track however is simply amazing yet doesn't get airplay. It was in a movie soundtrack however and I was grateful for that.
Vedder's voice ..... it is as though he is truly being "released". Damn, 31 freaking years ago! I see the world Feel the chill Which way to go Wind no sail I see the words On a rocking horse of time I see the birds in the rain Oh dear dad Can you see me now I am myself Like you somehow I'll ride the wave Where it takes me I'll hold the pain Release me Oh dear dad Can you see me now I am myself Like you somehow I'll wait up in the dark For you to speak to me I'll open up Release me Release me Release me Release me |
