Blackberry Pearl v. 8800
Does anybody here have one or the other? If so, can you give a mini-review or recommendation or not on them? I need to get one of these soon, so trying to see which one is better.

actually 8800 has a camera, but it's a bad one
if you are talking about the new 8800 "sirocco", then it's amazing, my bro has it it's not much of a features-phone, but it's very elegant and makes you look like a business man i dont know the Pearl, might be good...

blackberry pearl vs 8800 = function vs fashion blackberry is light, 8800 is heavy...blackberry has a lot more functions if you compare it to 8800

I LOVE my Pearl. Although a full QWERTY keyboard would obviously by ideal, the suretype is so good on the Pearl that it is rarely an issue. In fact, I don't even look at the screen anymore when I type because I'm confident that suretype will insert the correct word. Actually, I prefer suretype to the full QWERTY keyboard on the Treos because the keys are bigger on the Pearl.

Interesting. I'm not a fan of bluetooth pairing, so I went with the 8800. I also went and tried them out and there is no way I'd get use to typing with that 2 letter thing on the Pearl. Also liked the bigscreen of the 8800
