08 550i M-Sport Quad exhaust

I just picked up an 08 550i and want to add quad exhaust. Does anybody know what the best approach is? I found this bumper on ebay but not sure if it will mount on my 550i M-Sport package, as i don't have a lot of experience in this area. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/150564830649...84.m1438.l2648)

I'm really hoping this can be done with a clean install look. What exhaust advice does everyone have.

Thanks in advance!

Ur best bet would be getting a m5 bumper cover and a m5 exhaust

I am interested in this setup too, the only thing I can find is

According to this guy,
quote "The stock exhaust pipes were cut behind the catalytic converters, then both pipes were ported through a Magnaflow X-Pipe, from there, stainless straight back to a turbo silencer on each side, and out through dual tips. The bumper is the M kit, and the diffuser was custom through EuroSport in California. "
Show me pictures if you are going thru with this~

Update on quad exhaust!

So I talked to a Dinan shop and they said that putting quad exhaust on an 08 550i will only be able I'd done as a split after the exhaust for cosmetic purposes. They claim that the undercarriage is not large enough to fit quad pipes with dual mufflers and make it functional.

Somehow I don't believe them any thoughts from others that have done or seen this correctly?

Just go with the stock M-Tech Diffuser and customize it. That's what I did. I had another cut-out added.

But how did you duplicate the body line on the right cutout and make it identical to the original one on the left?

That twin exit defuser is the same item i am waiting for,

My 530 is of to a company called "Ray West Motorsport" (In the UK) on Monday, he is doing the full on Cat delite, DPF delite and a full custom twin exit exhaust and a remap also using a rolling road....

I will be there to document all of this with lots of picks......

There are several UK companys that advertise a twin exit system

One of them is MStyle, they will ship out to the US

Quad

An easy solution is in cali for the exhaust. I flew in to Socal from Houston before heading north (home) and i must say "very impressive" he explained the entire 8 months of RnD on his system and his final version was best sounding i've heard for non turbo.. NO dronning (sport or non sport modes in) any given time, the power n torgue his 328i produced was by far the biggest surprise. Im confident he has a tune he refuse to let out of the bag bc my buddy has similar tune and mods but does not produce the same power.

Sound: When driven standard its fairly quiet but, sport gears or manual high RPM, sound was music to my ears. All i can remember is the amount of attention his car was getting. Looked around stop light and i remember seeing faces driving behind him " Holy Shit Look". I was sold and ordered mine and takes a two weeks as he custom make per order.

I was breezing thru here to sell some M5 wheels and ran into this post. Since they refuse to allow him to become a vendor and as a customer of his (modded my entire front end from SoCal and organized all front end work needed for lci conversion local body shop). His work deserves to be passed on to others as he offers full custom mods. I advised him about this request and he asked me to extend his offering of a sponsorship or group price if anyone is local in socal or he can also ship. According to him, we have similar engines as the 530 or 528?

His system is very affordable for what he offers. its a True Dual System 2nd cat delete replaced with X pipe with 2 race rasonators and race mufflers. He had quads but went back to dual for some odd reason but i ordered quads for my car (no need to remove storage bin).. I only have pics i took form my camera but here's a link of a video. He also stated "He increased the piping quarter inch so its a tad louder and will have a new video soon" .

I bought mine for 1675 full catback and sponsorship price im assuming will be discounted compared to what i paid..

links.. you will see several different ones during his RnD phase. I believe he went thru 5 different set ups before his final one which finished last week.

you just need to change the diffuser. I have an 08 BMW 550I with sport package and I installed a true quad exhaust on it (RDS)

tHE SOUND IS INCREDIBLE!

I know this is an old post but I wanted to ask if you are experiencing any drone with your exhaust setup?
Please chime in if you get this.
