I think it depends on the season of the guy. In my 20's, every word you typed would happen. In my 30's....yeah, most likely to go this route as well and potentially see what I could line up after the weekend. (I used to be in sales, always keep multiple deals in the funnel.) Now, these days....not at all. I feel like I've become more wise (very slightly) these days.

I've had 4 EKG's, all with completely different readings. After 45 minutes in the room with the nurse doing the EKG, she accepted the results of the 4th one, because at that point I was getting frustrated as hell.

Are you sure that they were doing an EKG and not an echo cardiogram? Even an incompetent trainee can stick on the sensors/wires and run an EKG strip in under three minutes. (Heck, I had to install/wire a 4-wire EKG box on myself twice a week at cardiac rehab...and I could do it standing up in less than two minutes!)

An echo (ultrasonic probe of the chest cavity while wired with EKG-like sensors) usually takes 15-30 minutes, depending on whether they need to do a contrast dye injection. I've been told by a few different echo techs that their ejection fraction (EF) measurements are personal guesses based on what they see, and two techs may disagree. Don't panic if they tell you that your ejection fraction (EF) is something like 40%, because a normal EF is something like 55% IIRC and not 100%. Ask your doctor to explain the scale and what they consider normal.

Since some of your observations are not aligning to what I've been through, I think that it is best for me to clam up right now until your doctors run some more tests. Just remember, positive thoughts!!!!!

I just want to jump in here and say that I think Sara is an incredibly good sport to be sharing all she does with this lot on here. She's easily one in a million. Most women wouldn't dream of posting what she does on a thread like this.
