Headlight Bracket Repair Kits

Hey so I bought and restored this E60 headlight that I pulled out of a car so I could learn with it, also changed one of the two brackets at the top part of it since I wanna sell it as I have no use for it anymore and it's sitting around but I don't wanna sell something that has a broken part.

Anyway, this is the bracket that's missing in mine and this is the repair kit bracket, how is this supposed to work? Thanks

I have the same issue and purchased the same kit. Haven't tried it yet.

I repaired the light with the bracket. I had to modify the bracket a bit with a rotary tool to make it fit properly. I have photos of what I did.
