Surprised at how little hits this has gotten on Youtube and haven't seen it posted here.
Here's a man's story of how he became a serious collector of BMW Motorsport race cars (and other BMWs as well).

Just like he said; people don't like a 'story' car. But in truth those are the cars that hold the most romance to them.

We are all "car guys" in our own right, but watching videos like this one, and some of the ones from Petrolicious, I feel like I can't even call myself a car guy.

This man is a true car guy. He really has almost a romantic and personal attachment to each and every car in his collection. Whether it be a BMW M1, a Ferrari 355 challenge (

), or a Ford Flex, he just loves them.

What is more interesting is he really researches and collects the parts of history that are associated with that car. Each one is like a time capsule, just filled with nostalgia.

I can't even hold a candle to the knowledge and raw passion of collectors like these.

This is great. That is a rough area as he said, I grew up in a nice village just south of Croydon and am familiar with his stomping ground.

Would love to visit his collection. Seems like he is in the States now! I am East coast.

He is a true collector and he has some awesome cars. I tend to go in the direction of wanting to know everything about a subject and this is where Peter goes.

Loved the video - will look in to his website!
