Headlight repair
So I polished my headlights and I think the vibrations loosened up the high beam lens. Now it's sitting at the bottom of my headlight. My mechanic buddy says it's pretty common with our cars getting older. My options are to either buy a replacement or try taking it apart and putting it back together; which I heard are a pain.
I'd love to know if there's a tutorial for taking apart these things. I can find everything but for the e60 and I really don't like to be the first one doing things like this. Thanks in advance for any help. |

Thank you!
I googled and searched a few BMW sights and never came across that one. Not sure why. Anyhow, I'm trying to find someone that has done this without cutting up the lens. If I was buying replacement lenses I'd be ok cutting it like that. Maybe they're too difficult to do the bake method. I'm trying to keep the costs down if possible. Otherwise I might as well buy the one for $300 I found (which really isn't too bad). |
