World Cup 2014

Well, we are just days away from the beginning of "injury cup". Everyone is now injured. Ribery is out, Reus too, so as the Gundogan, Falcao, Thiago, Montovolvo, Rossi, and probably Cristiano Ronaldo. I don't recall any previous cups with so many starts missing.

Anyways, Go Germany!

I'm sorry Falcao and Ribery won't be there...

Our first match is this friday against 'archrival' Spain

US player Bradley played for my hometown a couple of years ago, I actually had him in my shop a few times

Cheers

Oi, Oi, Oi.

Just shitting you, I'd be very surprised if we even get a point!

I think either Germany or Spain will win.

Hahah man Australia is screwed. Other teams will try to score as many goals as they can against Australia since competition is so tight in that group.

I don't think it is going to be quite that bad!

My boys are renowned for grit and determination (skill has nothing to do with it ) so they won't get flogged. I think our games may be closer than a lot expect, I can at least see us scoring a goal against Chile then set 10 fullbacks.

Anyway who knows what's going happen.

It's a shame our team didn't start to rebuild three and half years ago rather than last week!

We will be set ready to fire in Russia

Unfortunately I don't see the US getting out of the first round, we are in the group of death with Germany and Portugal. That being said it should be fun to watch.

The US looked extremely impressive against Nigeria yesterday. I think all US fans are cautiously optimistic given our draw. Conversely, I don't think Portugal was very impressive against Mexico. Without Ronaldo, they are an above average team. Obviously, we have to get 3 points against Ghana which won't be easy. I'm hoping that happens, Germany crushes Portugal, and then Germany rests all their starters for the 3rd game!

Yes we looked pretty good against Nigeria, but our back line makes me nervous. I still have nightmares about Ghana from the last World Cup. Hope your right... I'm liking your optimistic approach.

Has the make up to really be an unbelievable World Cup. I'll be rooting for the Germans, although it seems the favorite is the home team. Come on Bastian Schweinsteiger!!!!!!

I believe in the US. Germany and Portugal are down on players with Ronaldo not 100% and Reus out. I believe we have brought one of our strongest teams to the World Cup. We also have never won all 3 of our send-off matches until this year.

Ronaldo is ready and rocked the world in their last friendly game. Reus on the other hand is out for sure and that's a big shame.
