E60 LCI Front and Rear Bumper

My friend is upgrading his E60 LCI 530i (2009) to M front and rear bumpers as well as the side skirts. So, there is a free set of stock front and rear bumpers (plus the side skirts) hanging around. I wonder would it fit the older model E60 530i (2006) - that is, upgrade/facelift the older model to the LCI model. Has anyone done that before? Will that work?
