Awesome game. The Falcons made mistakes that cost them, but in the end, they just run out of gas. The second half of the 4th quarter and the OT the Pats steamrolled them. The Falcons defense that had played so fast and so tight in the first half just couldn't keep up. Easy to blame poor conditioning, but simply way too defensive snaps in a hot building. Brady was great, receivers finally starting holding on to balls and better 2nd half play selection and adjustments. Pats had to play superbly in O & D and execute and convert with almost no room for error against a team that outplayed them in the first half. They deserved the win, and my Pats are now 5-time champs.
The scary thing is, most of the team is under contract and they will get Gronk back. No reason why they won't get a crack at it again next year if they stay healthy (especially Gronk). |

The falcons collapsed, no doubt about that. But to still compete while down 25 points in the 3rd quarter of the biggest game is unheard of. ANY other QB/team would have been demoralized, no way they make that comeback. 2 two point conversions, and a 90ish yard drive in overtime is the Pats winning that game. One single mistake in that half and ot the pats lose
But anyways, with nearly the whole team still under contract and Gronk back, Tom Brady may need to bring out his left hand to hold these future rings. Get used to this dynasty for a couple more years minimum

It was both a choke job by the dirty birds and everything going right for NE. It felt like divine intervention honestly. #GodGate anyone?
To ruffle some more feathers, I may as well include that Tom Belichik and Kraft are gonna be having a winner party w/ the Donald in the White House. Imagine being a Pats hater and Trump hater lmao. Triggered. |

And not just on the field. Yes, there was some questionable call playing, but what I'm talking about is a turnover that maybe should have been challenged. I checked and nobody is talking about the play where High stripped the ball and the Patriot's recovered. It looked to me like Ryan's arm was in forward motion when he lost control of the ball. Shouldn't Atlanta at least called for a review?
Check out 13:21 specifically and 10 seconds either side of that point for the whole play from different angles. I think this was a missed opportunity to have the turnover possibly reversed. Am I crazy or am I just a 49er fan that didn't want Brady to have more rings than Montana? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=016LXFHpFCk |

But hey, I'm just a diehard pats fan. That arm could be foward and ready to release and I'd still argue for a fumble call

Like I said in the other thread, the Falcons gifted due to their freaking collapse. That doesn't take away the amazing intestinal fortitude of Brady & co coming back like crazy, but the opportunity shouldn't have been there at all. A simple FG and they're 11 pts ahead and it's over. Extremely poor play selection is understating it to the max.

You could just as easily say that the Pats wore them down. Difference is hating versus respecting. |

Not really dissing at all, like I said, intestinal fortitude and all that but ATL gifted the chance, that's a fact, just like the Seattle brainfart, this one was hella worse. You just don't go for high-risk plays when it's almost in the bag and w/i easy FG range. Short of an immediate turnover TD, ATL pretty much did the next worst thing. I also don't get this revenge thing vs Roger...did he 'illegally' go after Brady or did he do his job? Bottom line, the guy got caught 'cheating', regardless of whether other teams did it. If it didn't matter to them, they wouldn't have done the balls. Kinda petty to say they cheated and shouldn't have gotten punished and now gloating about it. No evidence Brady proved he plays better after deflategate. Look up the QB stats after deflategate. Brady was still #1 (maybe #2)...and doesnt this SB win prove that also??!! Deflategate is a perfect excuse for Pat haters but then this SB win kinda put Brady's dick in their mouths |

Huh, wasn't it proven they messed w the balls? Why bother if it does 0? Such a silly comment.
Like I said again, couldn't care less who won but it's a shame Atl gifted them due to fu after fu. They had this... |

But after this SB win, we dont care...5 rings and 15+ years of awesome football....others wish their team were the pats I have to be honest that if Brady sucked or played worst after deflategate...I would think he's a cheater too. But some freakin air pressure didnt change his performance, he actually played better after deflategate |

But if you read the full report, there is no direct evidence that Brady (or anyone on the team) was aware of or directed the balls to be deflated. Someone definitely could have deflated them, but it was never actually proven who did it and under whose direction. Just because Brady accepted the deal, does not prove him guilty. One judge had already overturned it, so clearly something was fishy None of this matters though, the better team won the game and TB is now the uncontested greatest QB (and probably player) of all time. Please keep the hate coming everyone, we love it over here. Makes it so much sweeter when we win it all (like the other 4 times under Brady & Bill). The excuses and accusations just fuel our team
