Wisdom Teeth Removal?

At what age did everyone got their wisdom teeth removed?

I turned 25 this past May..and was wondering if I should get it all four removed this year.

Did anyone get all 4 removed all the same time?

Got bottoms removed in my early 40s. Tops never came in / don't show in X-rays so I guess I am defective in a good way.

Unless it is absolutely necessary, do not have them removed.

All four, then your good. Heard that leaving the lower can cause some imbalance and you could end up with pain, for the rest of your life. --> 4.

First of all, it is so hard to clean it all the way back there. No matter how hard you try, it is not a guarantee that you will get the job done. So it always prone to carries. Second, on the lower, if it is a full bony impaction (which is quite common) it might put preassure on your mandibular nerve which is not a pleasant sensation at all. This is what happen to my wife not so long time ago. You don't wanna have a tooth ache while in the middle of your vacation at Bora bora do you?

High school. Only had 3 for some odd reason. Had them taken out one at a time, two weeks apart. No problems at all. They popped right out. The only issue was the novacaine. First time I'd ever had it and the dentist shot me up and then left the room. I thought he had stuck some rubber thing in my mouth to bite down on, so I was chewing on it. Turns out it was my tongue, which the novacaine had numbed. Now *that* hurt later.

22 in the army all 4 under local anesthetic. Lots of crunching noise, lots of blood. Got 1 day off for recovery and felt pretty good so I went junkyard hunting. Bad idea. Puked my guts out. Other than that it was a breeze.

Late 20's for me as well.

Didn't have any growing on the bottom, so only had the top two pulled. Really wasn't that bad. Actually was supposed to have them done much earlier but I kept blowing it off until they finally told me (in the Army) get it done or get in trouble. It was bullshit because they weren't causing any problems and according to x-rays looked to be growing straight down.

I honestly think they used me for practice. The guy who did it definitely scratched the shit out of the roof of my mouth and I developed a huge sore that lasted a week. That hurt more than the spots where the teeth were. Screw that guy...
