PM me if you want to talk CBD oils. Even if you don't buy my stuff i'll tell you a few things to look out for from other products. I have been on mine since October.

Reducing caffeine intake and increasing sleep will help a lot!

Regular exercise will help you sleep better.

Exercise is key for me, I'm either lifting or playing ball or getting exercise with the kid everyday. On those rare days where I work too much and/or don't exercise, I don't feel as good and often don't sleep as good.

Sex will help you produce more stress reducing hormones, even if the sex is with yourself.

As someone else mentioned, try a magnesium supplement if you haven't already. I take ZMA most nights, its just magnesium supplement with Zinc and vitamin B6 added to help your immune system. Most Americans have a minor magnesium deficiency, google this stuff.

two ways you can approach this i'd say:
short term solutions like smoking drinking etc, stuff that'll release dopamine faster. some people even use porn for this, but with everything so accessible today chances are you'll get addicted and cause bigger issues.

look into longer term solutions, like (as stupid as it'll sound) taking a step back. ive been stressing about everything since i started college, and this summer was awesome because i realized the stuff i was already doing is miles ahead of others, plus it creates some nice stories to tell to your boys. gym also is nice, i go to the gym to get muscle and nothing else, but many go there to meditate. for me that meditation comes from driving, i'll randomly drive up to chicago on the weekends to get away from everything even if for a few hours. especially with car shows still going on it's a perfect weekend getaway for me!

For some they are. I have workout out all my life and eat well. Had depression and anxiety. I have been taking 30 mg of CeleXA for 6 years. Not habit forming..it works by helping to regulate seratonin in the brain.

Wish I could do without but not a lot of choices.

Folks are sometimes quick to criticize. But they haven't ben there.

Again, what you need to do is start taking magnesium twice a day. Ideally, this is what your vitamin intake should look like

D3
B12
C
Magnesium
Salmon Oil
Siberian Ginseng

Twice a day, with a litre of water. This is conducive to a strong immune system and keeping stress at bay.

I had a mental breakdown a few years ago due to stress, led me to a trip to the hospital for heart issues. Had to make some major life changes and pick up enjoyable hobbies. Also reduced my work load greatly and learned the word NO. I feel great now and am enjoying life once again!

You can eat well, take magnesium, Vitamion B's, exercise, and do all the right things but it still may not be enough. I have suffered anxiety off and on for decades. I am 72. I do and did all the right things. For over 30 years I ran 1200 to 1700 miles per year. It helped for sure but really not enough.

About 5 years ago it got really bad. And yes I still exercised 5 times per week.

I finally started taking Celexia (I do the generic-Citalophram). I did 20 mg/per day for a while and then upped it to 30mg/day. It has totally changed my life. It is not habit forming and does not become less effective over years like Xanix.

"Celexa balances your level of serotonin, a naturally occurring chemical substance or neurotransmitter in the brain." Its easy for folks to shun these drugs and criticize others for using them. They have not walked in the shoes of those who simply need medication. So-yes-try the exercise, meditation, diet, etc. But if you still suffer, go to a competent doc and explore alternatives.

The Commander of the 6th fleet committed suicide. You can take it to the bank that depression played a role.

He had some problem with his war records but to commit suicide-leave his distraught wife and kids behind? That is totally irrational and some would think him selfish.

No rational person would consider taking his life over matters like this. Now doing it when you are in the terminal stages of cancer-another matter. I have been where he was but I got help with medication. These last 5 years have been among the best of my life. So please don't call him selfish nor cast distainn on those who choose to continue to live by taking a medication that alows them to enjoy life again.
