looking forward to this build! if it were me i would rip out all the electrical and run new electrical and bring it to code. install new outlets everywhere including up top for LED's. than drywall everything up

Excited for this since my garage is from the 1860s...use to be a small barn. I've never drywalled mine since I like the wood look. Unfortunately my ceiling is under 8ft so I can't have a lift.

I recommend not going with race deck, or plastic tiles. Learned my lesson. Tossed them out after 2 years.

Some good bones there. I'd leave them exposed if it were mine. One of those doors would be a dedicated spray booth/detail area and one would be dedicated for furniture, a fridge, tunes and general mischief.

Subscribed, love garage build threads.
Opposite experience for me, although i went with swisstrax over racedeck (had samples of both). Going 2 years now and no regrets. Color matters - lighter colors will stain regardless of bran. No issues with constant wrenching either, those tiles can take a beating. |

The tiles will be only at the toolbox/benches end of the shop. They are the Advanta Tuff Seal tiles, they are the best I've seen.
