a hole in one is a good feeling, especially when playing a competitive game against your buddies.

Congratulations. I have been playing consistently for about 5 years now and I have holed out from 75-150 on Par 4's - Par 5's like 4 times. But, I have yet to find that elusive hole in 1. I was golfing with a buddy of mine about 2 months ago on a 175 yard par 3, he put the first one in the water. There was no drop area so he was forced to play his 3rd off the tee and he holed out for a par. We joke with him all the time that he wasted his only chance to get a hole in 1.
