e60 530i stalls immediately after starting

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well and staying safe. I am having this problem for some time (5 months) trying to troubleshoot if on my own with no luck.

The problem: Car shuts off immediately after starting. Car cranks up RPM surges then car stalls.

History: Notice leak from Valve cover order gasket and bolts and replaced the gasket 1hr tops. Put the car back together started it and it started up fine let it sit that night and came back out the next day to start it and the RPM would surge a few times then levels out that went on for about a month. I pulled the code and it said the VANOS solenoid was the problem (apologize for not having the actual code on hand) with that said I went to the junkyard got 4 solenoids from a few e60's they had and still the same problem/code so I decided to buy 2 brand new solenoids. Excited to install them and put this issue behind me so I got to work made sure everything was clean pop the new solenoids in change the oil and filter and started the car.......SAME problem. I read somewhere that I should try cleaning a little filter on the right side of the engine (requiring a Torx bit to remove) that didn't work either. the last thing I did was remove the intake boot system and checked for breaks thinking I had a vacuum leak and didn't find any...I also pulled the DISA, both of them to see if they were malfunctioning but they looked fine to me.

So now I'm asking you guys for suggestions, if any of you have every experienced this please share what you did to troubleshoot, find, and fix the problem I would really appreciate it. Also if you need more info just let me know and I'll do my best to get it to you.
