Best that I could find and what Brembo says is the closest they found, is Monte Carlo Blue B05.

MCB is pretty close but the blue on the brakes seems more saturated than the MCB that I've seen on an M5.

Did this ever get figured out?

I need to match this paint colour, and I'm struggling to find any answers!

I have been told its Interlagos blue by a specialist caliper refurbisher here in the UK, but they are not 100% certain?

It's been almost a year, but if I remember it is Interlagos! I have the touch up paint. I just need to find it.

No worries. Yep. 99.9% sure only because I can't find the touch up kit I had.

I really don't think they used an exterior color. The breaks aren't painted with metallic paint.

It could be a derivative of a color with no metallic flakes but definitely not one of BMW exterior colors

They do have a metallic flake in them - I have seen plenty of pictures where this is evident.

I have also read similar to what you say though, that the brakes themselves have their own unique paint code. Nobody seems to know for certain though!

I guess Interlagos Blue is probably going to be as good as I get!

Oh for gods sake!!!

I wish BMW would just list this info!

The M5 brakes as reportedly Monte Carlo blue.

I might take a caliper down to the dealer with me and compare them side by size in the show room!!!

My SA tried all the blues in front of me because she's awesome. Interlagos matched and she gave it to me for free!

I took a caliper into BMW today and looked at the various blues on the wall and took a few of the colour samples off and compared them.

None of them were a 100% perfect match, but Estoril Blue seems to be the closest, and is what I am going with.

These pictures are all Estoril Blue being compared against the Brembo caliper. I was trying to get them in different light / reflection.

It looks closer to the Le Mans Blue Metallic color.

They look great! It's nice to have the blue brakes and blue interior trim matching the blue exterior.

Color-wise they're obviously darker than EBII. I think almost any other BMW medium-blue would be a better match, like monte carlo or interlagos as mentioned.
