Ed, super coyote hunting shot.

Not competing, simply sharing a common interest. ;-)

Understood Dave. Your Colorado coyotes have a lot more meat on their bones than ours.

Maybe, maybe not. Part of what you see there is a winter coat that hasn't been fully shed. Those close to me seem to be the best fed in Colorado. I've seen a coyote catch and devour four-voles in five-minutes. Crunch, crunch, gulp!!

Maybe I should recruit some coyotes for my yard. The cats aren't keeping up with the voles.

(Not the same critter, I know. Still, coyotes probably don't care.)

I've got gophers that love to eat my veggie garden, and Smokey has been no help.

We must be feeding our yard cats too much. They don't hunt as much any more.

Fuji Auto - Pano mode

I was out yesterday looking for a decent weather shot for the BBC National TV weather forecast, but the light was pretty dismal.
So . . I played around with the auto - pano mode on the little Fuji X-T1.

I'm amazed at the camera's capabilities in this respect.

With the 18-55 f/2.8 lens set at around 35mm I swept the camera from left to right and, if I counted correctly, it took about 9 exposures.
Below is the result. All processing done automatically in camera, then just a little C,V and S in PS afterwards.
The original file size, in camera, was 6400px x 1440px @ 72ppi.

My trusty Honda van, my daily driver for over 10 years and 170k miles has started to falter, leaving me stranded twice now in the last month, so it was time for a new DD.

Surprising, they usually last longer. My wife had an Accord for 22yrs/300+k

Oh it will keep going, it just needs some charging system work that I will do myself when I get time. I just retired it from daily driver duties. I like having all the newer safety doo-dads in our lovely bay area commute traffic, and having a good stereo is nice too after years of the very mediocre stock Honda system.
