Arai I'm positive has similar testing and QC... I unfortunately don't fit into an Arai... Nolan, Bell are a couple of other fantastic brands... You can send to shoei where they will test the helmet to ensure the honeycomb is still intact, but I'd rather not take the chance... Even a drop off a table is enough to shatter the honeycomb inside and you'd never know it...

That's awesome. My application is a little different since is automotive related. But, nonetheless, I want to have something that will ensure safety if anything ever happens while I'm at the track. I have friends that purchased cheap helmets (sub $200) because they just wanted to get on track. I fear the thought of them getting into an accident and needing the helmet to protect them from injury.

Ah I lived in Germany and I miss those. Do you know the proper way to eat them is not to have the sausage inside the bun? You take a bite of the sausage and then a bite of the bun separately.
