The SUV driver is stopped at the second red light, i.e. *in* the intersection, and is blocking the bus. I've seen this happen before up here.

The driver just stopped in the middle of the intersection. There isn't another light for another 1/4 mile or so down the road. Don't know if it was caused by engine trouble or what, but still an interesting scene.

Everywhere on earth except for North America the stop line is at the lights. That is why there is often a smaller light at eye-level for the first car because otherwise they could not see properly the light.

A lot of european tourists need a day or two to realize that. It can cause some serious accidents.
