Can't seem to find a show me your 18's on XI anywhere??
I hate to be accused of being lazy but I've exhausted my search options on trying to find a thread of 18" wheels on an e92 xi.. I'm going to upgrade my 328 Xi coupe sport pkg 17's to CSL Reps 18" staggered with AS GFT tires.. Does anyone out here have pics of a similar set up? Thanks for your help...

What kind of CSL rep's are those? Brand, size and tire size? how's the ride on 19's in the Boston area? I'm near NYC and worried about ride quality? thx

Your car looks awesome..
I'm finally seeing what I need. A side shot of a Monaco Blue E92 Xi with 18's. PERFECT.

I hit submit too quickly..
So how's the ride quality compare overall to your stock set up? going over bumps, pot holes etc..?

Honestly I can say its improved over the factory run-flats, even with the larger wheel and shorter sidewall. I'm also running the stock xi suspension for now. I'm driving across Michigan roads too so its a worthy test. I didn't want to go all the way to 19" for that very reason. Ride is still very quiet and comfortable with small bumps and pavement joints being nicely absorbed all while providing much better grip and cornering. Glad the pics were what you were after. I'm not sponsored or anything, but can say I'm very happy with the purchase and the way everything turned out. |

Tires are Goodyear F1 Eagles (GSD3). Ride on the 19s is awesome. Coming from my Nokain winter setup, it's like driving on rails. I'm careful on shitty roads, but for the most part, no trouble. I know my roads pretty well, so I don't end up slamming into too many potholes. I've hit some doosies though, and they've held up fine. |
